Ice Bridge Runner
Ice Bridge Runner is a top down 2D car game where players control a truck and travel across an ice bridge to deliver cargo while dodging obstacles and battling the weather.
Themed around the chaos of uncontrollable weather conditions, our game puts players in the driver’s seat of a truck tasked with navigating treacherous icy roads.
Inspired by the perilous conditions faced by Alaskan truckers, players must carefully manage their cargo load, fuel, and speed to safely deliver goods.
Each route presents unique challenges with shifting weather conditions and dangerous obstacles. The game features distinct start and end points across various roads, demanding strategic choices and survival instincts to complete the journey.
This game was developed during TalTech GameCamp Lite gamejam (theme: out of control).
Instructions:
A ship is broken. You need to do the dangerous work. Pick up the crates and deliver them to the other side of the ice bridge. Use WASD or arrow keys or gamepad left stick and triggers to control the truck.

I find it funny and charming how the truck sounds like it has an RB20 engine and while I'm carefully trying to navigate the ice it sounds like I'm absolutely ripping it down the road.
Haha, unintentionally it's still sound because the wheels are just spinning on ice (loss of traction).
Nice game! Good job with simulating different surfaces. Personally I would suggest adding some pointer to cargo bay and then to ice path, it took me a while to find where to drive.
Thanks, we initially had an idea to have a dynamic marker on the edge of the screen or even GPS route on minimap, but due to time constraints, we just added the text for cargo bay and delivery bay.
We might add those features later, even tho the gamejam is over now.
